Prof James MOUANGUE KOBILA, the Chairperson of the Cameroon Human Rights Commission (CHRC), had a working session with Prof Adolphe Minkoa SHE, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Yaounde II at the Soa University Campus, on Tuesday, 5 July 2022.
Prof James MOUANGUE KOBILA, accompanied by a five-man delegation, visited the campus concerning a complaint lodged at the Commission against the University of Yaounde II, pertaining to the suspension of professional PhD studies of 499 students, who wrote to the Commission requesting for the reimbursement of their fees from the University. During the two-hour discussion, Prof Adolphe Minkoa SHE disclosed the position of the University on the matter. The Chairperson of the CHRC, Prof James MOUANGUE KOBILA on his part, shall approach the competent authorities in response to the issue. At the end, Prof Adolphe Minkoa SHE, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Yaounde II, expressed gratitude for the presence of the Commission on the arena of learning.
